Recently, the Japanese government decided to provide Ukraine with drones, along with gas masks and personal protective equipment (PPE) while expanding sanctions against Russia.
Voices of criticism are issuing forth from within Japan over its support of drone to Ukraine that Japan is running a step-by-step scheme to join the war on the plea of supporting Ukraine.
The sensitivity of drone provision has to do with its increasingly important role and its ever-expanding range of application in the modern warfare.
Drones, used extensively first in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, are now recognized as weaponry indispensable to the execution of a war.
Despite the Japanese government’s attempt at prevarication with such lame excuses that the drones in question are intended for “civilian use”, the “ban on their usage deviating from the original purpose is confirmed” and the like, its criminal nature can hardly be concealed.
It is a general knowledge that a drone designed for commercial purposes, with minor technical alterations, can easily be used for military purposes, and one doesn’t have to be a specialist to know this.
Moreover, Japan does not make clear about the size, sort and efficiency of the drones that they provide this time. This is raising doubt as to what purpose it is seeking.
That Japan provides Ukraine with drones will inevitably result in disturbance of peace and stability, further aggravating disputes and conflicts in the region.
This also constitutes not only a hostile act towards Russia but also the one tantamount to a direct participation in the war by Japan-a war criminal state.
Taking advantage of the tense situation, Japan, eagerly looking for a chance of vengeance, is trying to provide a legal justification for becoming a military power; to pave the way for its invasion of the Continent; and to perfect its actual combat capability as well. Herein lies the gravity of its drone provision.
Provision of drones this time clearly shows that Japan’s intention to reinvade, which is going extreme day by day, has already entered a full-scale phase of execution.
International society should keep a close watch on Japan in its extremely dangerous move to participate in the war.
