Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital

The Ryugyong General Ophthalmic Hospital is located in the Munsu area of Pyongyang, the capital of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea.

Occupying the total floor space of 11 800 square metres, it consists of a four-storeyed building for outpatient service and an eight-storeyed one for inpatient service.

A pattern of human eye on the front wall of the former and that of eyesight test chart on the outer wall of the latter make visitors easily know it is an ophthalmic hospital.

For eight years since its opening in November 2016, the hospital has cured many patients.
